| | Metal_Man88's Post | I first registered late 2004, looking for a friend who did DDR stuff. I found the friend, but not on AB2. I hung out because it was a place full of drama, and I was an IRC warlord looking for more drama to fuel my madness.
I got what I wanted, actually I got too much and tired of drama wars as it never really stopped, not even after Xk took over and we had AB3.
I was only ever banned from ||board, mostly because ||bass randomly banned my name without even knowing who I was. His loss, though in the end that board imploded so I didn't really miss much.
I was at Board 2 until the name change. It was just kind of dumb how they changed their name and let all the banned people in, really. These days they are their own community and so I don't really judge them anymore, but at the time... that was just pretty dumb, to be honest. "Let's have all the banned people here! That makes total sense right?"
I've been here since the very beginning, since I was originally in the first JustUs League, which was a wildly different version from this. Given the name change it seems this is just Jul and the original JustUsLeague much more separate from it than it used to be. Still, those were nostalgic times... seeing Spiderman3 just reminds me of the old wacky hijinks.
Finally, I am still here, and it seems not much will change from here on out. This forum isn't going to magically split since it's actually owned by Xk as well as the server, and I'm still modding the SM64 forum. We'll see what the future has in store for us...
