Do you play one? Many? Any at all? How long have you been playing them?

I sort of play the Clarinet. 15 years ago I began, then 10 years ago I quit because my father annoyed me into only playing songs he liked. Then I just recently picked it up again and am trying to regain the last 4 notes before I can play whatever I want again.

I also learned piano 2-3 years ago, but I can never really get my hands on them enough. I need a nice big one with a good-sounding lower register of notes, since that's the part I prefer to play all the songs on.

Some day I'd like to learn how to play the guitar, though...

I play the ukulele, and while I'm still not great at it, it's a TON of fun.

Yup.

I believe that the first musical instrument that I actually started playing was the piano somewhere between 1996 and 1998. I took lessons for about seven years and then quit for a year. After a year passed, I started taking guitar lessons. At first I had an acoustic-electric hybrid guitar, but then after a year I switched to a Sammick Artist Series edition electric in Heritage Cherry, which has been my electric guitar ever since. (A very nice guitar, indeed.) I also have played the ukelele and violin for a year back in elementary, and the Clarinet during grade 7 and 8 (of which I was in the school's concert band, and won gold at the music festival when I was in grade 8.)

I also have an A and C (I believe) harmonica, and a B♭ and D tin whistle.

Oh, and I can also play Hammond tonewheel and pipe organs as well. It's been years though, it would be nice to play at least a Hammond again.

I was forced to learn to play the Recorder in middle school, but I've never touched them since. Around the time Ocarina of Time came out, I tried learning to play the piano/keyboard. (On an official Nintendo keyboard!) I'm not really good at it. In fact, I'm bad at music in general. I can't keep a rhythm, as much as I try.

I can play the clarinet. I started ten years ago (wow, has it been that long already?), although recently I haven't been doing much with it. I played alto clarinet once, and I really liked it, but I can't afford an alto clarinet.

I can hold a tune on most other woodwind instruments and also piano, but I can't play them "right."

I play the drums. I taught myself and learned from practicing. I'm not a pro but I'd say I'm better than average. I played for our Church for several years. Haven't played much since I sold my set 2 years ago, though. I've been wanting a new one for a while.

Semi-pro French horn player though I'm very out of practice since I loaned the thing out for several years. Was taught by some pretty well-known (in French horn circles) teachers.

Can also play mellophone and trumpet; can play keys a little bit.

I have a clarinet, passed down to me from my mom. I never really use it all that much, though. It's been so long that I no longer know how to play.

I also used to have a keyboard, but that broke.

I am a guitarist. I've played for years.

I played the clarinet in grades 6 and 7, but haven't played since.

I actually took a beginner's guitar class last semester where I learned surprisingly more than I thought I would. Alas, my short stubby fingers make playing the guitar a stressfully difficult proposition. Nice to learn chords though.

My main musical adventures come in the form of music composition. I just like to experiment with my keyboard and sometimes record what I like into Sonar 8 and mix it for fun. I usually try to make music for games, but usually end up with weird, super melodic stuff that really only I enjoy.

Oh yeah, was in the marching band in high school and in the Jazz band in middle school...trumpet. :p

I played the trombone for maybe all of a couple of weeks. :/

I hated it. I wanted to play drums.

What don't I play? I've been playing piano since I was about 5, though only seriously picked it up around 10 years old. I was a Jazz pianist for the better part of a decade and continue to write all my music on the piano before anything else. I've also played the drums just as long, and throw in a bunch of random percussion stuff like bongos and marimbas for good measure. Oh! and I sing, the voice is an instrument after all I play bass for a band right now, and picked up the guitar a few years back out of necessity but wouldn't really call myself a guitarist, that would be insulting to people who are...well, good at it. Music is sort of my thing ;x

I do know what you mean, but I cant help but picture the completely ridiculous version of that statement.

Nowadays I don't play any instrument, though I used to play a rather good amount of Sexophone in my younger days.

Been thinking of borrowing one recently and just see how much I can remember from all those years back, it is a quite nice instrument after all.

I'm better on Rock Band.

Same here. I got it for Christmas YEARS ago, but I never picked it up. It's way too small to play now, and it isn't even tuned. I also got a clarinet for another Christmas which, again, remains untouched.

I started piano lessons when I was five, then consecutively for thirteen years. I think I'm pretty good at it. (Cause you know, high 80 exam marks with a quarter the recommended amount of practice the year before hand is 'pretty good'. But I'm bragging a little.) Unfortunately that's fallen to the wayside a bit, with school and stuff like that, it's hard to get into when I don't have a big end goal in mind.

I also own a trumpet (though I think it's loaned out to my grandpa.) which I played for a couple years in elementary school.

I have a knack for rhythm, too, so I played drums for a couple months last summer, along with copious amounts of drumming on Rock Band. I'd like to get back into it one of these days.

Eventually, I'd like to pick up a guitar and learn to play that, too. But we'll see.

Let's see... the first instrument I learned how to play was the viola back in 3rd grade. I stuck with that until just before high school. I then switched to the euphonium, which I played in the Wind Ensemble. I also learned how to play the sousaphone for marching band and the trombone for jazz band. Somewhere in this timeline I learned how to play guitar. I took piano lessons my first term of college (I suck at it), and bought an electric violin instead. I also have an ocarina that I play with from time to time.

Also, recently I was told that I'm a pretty good singer, so I've been singing a lot lately. My only problem is that I space out on the lyrics constantly.
