Well, if you need a screenshot, I have the game for PC and I can confirm those QR codes are in there. |

| I just remembered something kinda interesting. The PS1 game Thousand Arms came with a card you could send in for a soundtrack/multimedia CD, and the CD has an outtakes folder on it with around 100 .wav files of spoken dialog from the characters. Not all of it is unused, and a lot of it seems to just be different takes on various noises Marion makes, but there's some stuff in there that definitely isn't in the game. Just browsing through a few files, I heard a couple lines from Nelsha that aren't used ("Nelsha love you long time!" for example) and a line from Soushi where he refers to himself as "Sushi." |

US version Streets of Rage 2 (Genesis) has region lock making Japanese language mode inaccessible. I began a stub article to explain.

All four of my CD-i games include a 30-second warning message about playing it on a CD player. This one comes from Stickybear Reading.
These warning messages are probably on every CD-i disc, so I'm not sure if it's really TCRF material... |

| No, we really don't need a zillion CD-i pages with just that warning. |

This doesn't surprise me. Most versions of the same game share the same graphics across all versions. The difference is in the program data.
Still, I guess it's valid? |

Warnings about playing on a CD player aren't unique to the CD-i, either... |

| Maybe could just have some global CD-i page, or just a mention on a CD-i category page. |

How about the way these messages are encoded? They're part of the data track. If you listen to the audio file, there's a burst of static at the beginning for the filesystem header, and a constant buzz for the sector headers. If you decompress it to raw PCM and descramble it, you'll see the filesystem header at offset 0x9300. |

probably, this bootleg mentioned has a player select/same character selection, is possible has this code can changed for use in other versions (2 players/4 players)
Other games: Moo Mesa, Bucky O'hare, The Simpsons, Vendetta?

I sent you a PM. You can read it by looking at the header, or by going to the main page (click the logo, or just hit "Jul" or "Main".)
Anyway.

What I was getting out of it was that there are icons in the game to allow you to select any player in 4P mode, while the game normally locks them to specific spaces (e.g. P1 is always a certain character, P2 is another, etc, and you can't switch without actually moving to a different set of controls), and a bootleg re-enabled this feature so that anybody can select any player.
I'm not sure about the game, though, so maybe I'm wrong. |

Huh, that does seem interesting... if that's how CD-i games do it generally, maybe (to avoid having a million pages with just that like BMF mentioned) mention it on a system page? |

In the normal 4 player versions, each stick has their own character. In the 2 player ones, you can choose your character.
None of the 4 player Sunset Riders sets in MAME allow you to pick your character. The main difference, asides from language, is how the game treats coin input. Some sets use four coin slots, one per player, while others use one or two, with the credits being shared across all players, letting you choose what stick / character to use regardless of which coin slot you used.
The two bootleg sets in MAME aren't working right now.
There's a chance that there's an undumped 4 player revision of the game that lets players choose their own character... but who knows.
Note that there are 4 player versions of The Simpsons that let each player choose their own character, so... |

The code itself should be similar to a 2 player version and is probably included in the code for 4 players version
but knowing where that line is located, will be for a very long time |

| Source Filmmaker has all sorts of TF2 goodies, like two old test maps, an unused Medic costume, and a solved mystery. Once I get my hands on it, I'm definitely making a page for it. |

Not exactly Wiki-worthy, more of an easter egg, but the hero statue in the Hyrule Castle Minigame is left handed. Was bored, looking at Sayaka tonight just cuz. =P Mostly, to disprove some old rumors, and got distracted.
The one surrounded by figures, rather than the philosopher looking one. His sword is in his left hand. No idea what is in his right. Slain enemy? Bag of grains with a really long neck? |

Cool detail you noticed! Doesn't the wiki endorse documenting oddities? I think you could classify that hand-thing as an oddity worth mentioning...
No fourth character found in this package. Decided to go rooting through Borderlands 'cause I've always been interested in games that dramatically change throughout their development, and Borderlands went through a drastic artistic switch from a realistic, gritty game into the more fantastical, cartoony game we have now. Too bad the only video footage of the early game is some cam-video from a presentation...
And some old building structures! There's a bunch of test-snapshots in this folder that are of bad quality, but they show a mock-village setting, all viewed from this main construct. |
