The movie itself is pretty cool. Though, some of the retcons conflict with things that are actually depicted in certain episodes, like with Seymour's flash carbonating or whatever that was called.

Also the scammers are really creepy...

In the movie itself, it's only on for about 30 seconds. Check the extras; there's a full episode of "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad".

The point of that was that history did indeed change, but not in a way that caused the episodes in question to not be possible.
