Zangief works for Shadaloo (or however it's spelled) in that line.
Also, the Gorbachev dance in SFII.
Also, Zangief's face looks like the Heavy's in this movie. Pretty odd.

 I'm more surprised than anything that they're using actual video game characters and franchises and stuff. Bowser? Robotnik? Yay. 
I'm also surprised that Pixar's name isn't on it, considering how good it looks.

I have never been so torn.
For one: holy shit they did some research, barring "Zangief is not bad guy. Zangief is hero to children all around world!". The zombie talking to Ralph? He's from fucking House of the Dead 1. (Cyril, at the top. Note the axes. D: )
On the other hand... I fucking hate John C. Reilly AND Sarah Silverman to no end, to the point where they can, indeed, ruin a TV show or movie for me. Goddamn it.

If it's not a good movie, then Disney is going to be out another metric fuckload of cash (kinda like what happened with John Carter and Battleship) because of how much licensing some of these characters must have dinged them.
In any case, I'm hoping it's not going to be terrible.

I don't think Disney is desperately dependent on this to be a good movie, I'm sure the cameos is all they need to break even. That said, hopefully this movie will end up being a cult classic since it could be a good example of using video games in movies without it being a disaster waiting to happen.
