Wouldn't classical music imply that everything's going well, not bad? I'd choose some other noise to indicate somethings going wrong.

My old Pentium 200MHz did that, and it took us almost a year to find what caused it (the processor fan was full of dust) The computer also slowed down by about 4x whenever this happened (to stop the overheating), and it was eventually often enough that it really got annoying, I even remember trying to block the internal PC speaker so it wouldn't be as loud

It's probably mentioned in the BIOS manual somewhere, and if not... that'd be rather silly.
