seriously. why can't we just get a new series that is completely separate, have him maybe thrown in as a cameo ala Red, the person he was supposed to be based off, and call it a day. And I don't just mean a cookie-cutter replacement of Ash either, which the anime seems to be fond of doing. B/W is a huge step in the right direction but still...

I stopped watching anime mid-Johto (since that's when the dub ceased here), but I've seen The Legend of Thunder! a few years ago and enjoyed it. It was different in that it didn't contain Ash at all.

Anyway, I'm... not that psyched for BW2, to be honest.. but I'll definitely play it, so we'll see then.
