Still deciding on where I want to buy it, definitely getting the Collector's Edition. I play WoW & StarCraft II so all the goodies make it worth it for me. I'm signed up for the WoW Annual Pass so I get the game free. I have to pay up front for the Collector's Edition but I get credited 4 months of WoW subscription so I'll end up only paying $40 for it. I'm taking that Tuesday off, too. Might just stand in line at Walmart to get one at midnight and then play it for a bit. There's usually only about 10-15 people waiting. ____________________

Hehe, your devotion to this epic game is admirable Bitmap. But the Digital Version will suffice for me. I do recognize the value of the cardboard box and its many nostalgia inducing smells. But I leave the 5am line waiting to the young ones.

So what class will yall level up first? After playing the open beta with almost all the characters (didn't have chance to create a monk), I will go with Demon Hunter. At least for that super short demo, the Demon Hunter killed the fastest, and showed great survivability; I drank literally only 2 health potions the entire demo.

I'm gonna try my hardest to stick with it till level cap, but I fear I may come upon a badass Barb player or something and get an irresistible urge to roll alts, happened in WoW, will prolly happen here too.

I'm probably going to go Wizard. It was the class I used in Diablo to throw fireballs around. Sorceress is the only class in D2 I ever finished Hell with, suppose I should repeat the feat in Diablo 3

Internet going down/slowing down and preventing me from downloading the client would stop me from playing the game for a while. However, a lost or scratched disk would stop me from playing for a lot longer. To each his own I suppose. Being a collector you probably take super good care of your disks though.

So, will you guys bother with the Real Money Auction House? It definitely intrigues me. I will probably put a couple things up there to see if any actual profit can be made from casual play. I have a feeling there's gonna be huge supply as everyone will be trying to make money and like no demand since no one will buy gear that will get replaced in a level or two as everyone will be leveling up. I don't know, could be wrong.

Eventually we should put up our battlenet ID's so as to party and quest together.

Thats the sad and dreadful truth on people thinking they are going to get super fucking rich from this game. A few days after launch people might post stuff with absurd prices, sure. But later down the road when more and more people get their hands on the high level content the less and less the prices will drop. Leading prices no higher than hats on TF2.

I mean, I might buy stuff. But there is no way in hell I will be buying imaginary armor upgrades for a toon that is level 10. That's for damn sure.

E- Also want to add that the only reason the prices were high on Diablo 2 (From offsites like this was because of many reasons. But the payoff from getting this yourself was easier than buying them, rather than spend two hours grinding and making your eyes bleed from the same downed bosses over and over.

Now, if there was a "Perfect drop" that you just so happened to get your hands on and nobody else has it. THEN thats the perfect time to sell that motherfucker as quickly as possible. But the odds of that happening is about as good as winning $500 bucks from a scratch off.

E2- Another thing I wanted to add was that I think that holding off PVP is a good idea. I mean, Diablo was more of a PvE game anyways. And I would not feel like doing low level PVPing anyways right off the bat. I would be more focused on getting to inferno mode and dying constantly.
