| I'm pretty sure that the total cost of attendance for most of the top 50 universities is in the $50k+ range. Except for the top public schools (but most of the top universities are private anyway)
The top undergraduate public school according to US News is UC Berkeley and they charge $31k. While Harvard is $57k-$62k according to the website... But then again, most of the top 50 universities give a ton of financial aid (the most blatant and infamous exception being NYU), as is evident from my $50k/year scholarship.  |

| Yes, that is true. A certain number of these schools are known as "need-blind, full-need" schools, which will accept students regardless of their ability to pay, and give them financial aid that meets their entire demonstrated financial need.
I think there are 55 such colleges in the US according to those lists. |

| Twenty grand will get you four years of some of Western Canada's finest technology education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Another twenty will get you two to four years at the Vancouver Art Institute.

Tuition is dirt-cheap here compared to America... and that's even with the proposed tuition hikes! And the ongoing student protests/strikes/bickering with the government over said hikes!
