I shouldn't be playing games--I have too much stuff to worry about.
That's what casual games are for! At least take 20-30 minutes or so to play one as a welcome distraction. Or do a crossword/sudoku. Clear your mind and all that.
(If I'm really busy, I might play something like Picross to give my brain a workout.)

Playing Battlefield 3.
Very badly.
First day, something like one kill, 40 deaths. 40 deaths!
edit: Oh, sorry, 2 kills. 46 deaths though.

Beat the Water Temple in OoT3D Master Quest. The Water Temple annoys me for two reasons. First, Dark Link has been severely nerfed in OoT3D. It just isn't as good. Second, the Master Quest version isn't even difficult to solve, which I was looking forward to.
Bah, the Shadow Temple had better be good.
EDIT: Now playing the original, trying to glitch the hell out of it Early Shadow Temple is damn hard; I keep falling off the seam.

Whoo! Copied my dad's save of Ocarina of Time (post-Dodongo, pre-magic) and learned that, as I'm in a PAL region, I can't do a superslide. Ah well, I still managed to skip the Door of Time, become Adult Link with only 2 stones, got the Hookshot, Bomb-Hover+ISG into the Shadow Temple without Din's Fire, grabbed the Hover Boots way early, went to the Forest Temple, went OoB to skip the Block of Time in the Forest Temple to get into the West Courtyard, got the bow and clipped out of the main room to take on Phantom Ganondorf without fighting any of the Poe Sisters! Then, grabbed the Song of Storms and pause-buffered my way back past the Door of Time to become Child Link again.
Next, I think I'll go grab the Lens of Truth and see if I can make my way to Desert Colossus. Beat the Spirit Temple, then the Shadow Temple, and with a grand total of 2 stones and 4 Medallions, beat Ganondorf!
I'm having far too much fun breaking this game.

SIDEWAYS SLASHOriginally posted by Zero One post-Dodongo, pre-magic
You should learn of Wrong Warping. Though you still have Fire Temple's warp to mess around with and end up in the begining of the universe.

I plan on starting to mess around with other stuff like that on my next run. For now, I have to Recoil Boost DoT skip and try and get into Desert Colossus as Child Link. That N64 controller hurts your wrist after a while...

Played BF3 on an EA server last night, since the DICE servers were absent for a while (they said they're back up today after their Tweet). The DAO-12 with Flechette rounds and extended mags is a beast, but the M26 DART (the underbarrel shotgun with slug rounds) is downright overpowered and broken. I sense a rebalance patch in the Close Quarters addon.

I tried going for the Guardin' Gnome Achievement in Left 4 Dead 2 PC. My party did succeed, but the "Connection to Steam has been lost" error prevented the unlock somehow.

Played some Left 4 Dead 2 as well, with my brother and our 2 cousins.
Managed to pick up the Race to the Finish achievement for the Parish finale (forget what it's called..) and they picked up the achievement for avoiding the Witches in the Sugar Mill.
Forgot how much fun that game is. Though up until recently I'd only been playing with bots.

I've been on a little Wario Land 4 (3DS) kick recently. I'm playing in Hard Mode since I mapped Normal Mode inside an out. It's certainly challenging! I managed to die in Mystic Lake during the escape. In Monsoon Jungle, I missed one of the jewel pieces and didn't make it to the portal until half of my money had been drained away. I had to go back and get the last piece. I died repeatedly to Cractus, even when I wasted money on mini-games to buy a cannon thing to help me. I didn't beat him until the next morning. I missed the CD in The Curious Factory and had to go back for it, and last night I got everything in The Toxic Landfill after getting lost a bit.
Whew!

Been re-playing Deja Vu a bit. I forgot how those games were a whole hell of a lot of fun.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 last night.
X-factor is so OP in this game that I thought I almost laid waste to Galactus with a couple Proton Cannons (with Iron Man).
