I find those very easy to work with personally

Having just looked at SMILE, there's only an RGB slider. No HSV slider means that it'd be detrimental for pixel artists who pick colors that way (which for experienced artists, is the more helpful method, since it corresponds to color theory).

I'm fine with the RGB sliders in SMILE, but I prefer having a way to see everything at once. It lets me fiddle with palettes better.

I honestly never liked that look (but that's preference). As long as what your color changes to as you move along the slider is visible, it doesn't matter. For example:

Actually the sliders only show the current shade you got and not what you get if you drag them further along, it's a rather simple color picker, but hey, it works. =)

You just made me a happy man tonight if the download link is still available I'm going to download it and patch it to a super metroid rom later and try this on the wii tonight.

It's been quite along time since I've played any snes hacks, by the looks of the screen and video, you really took your time with this one and I'm mighty impressed.

There is a power bomb upgrade in the ceiling in deep ice that I just can't seem to find a way to get to. It's 2 screens below the screw attack, please help?

(edit)
Nevermind, found it. However, I'm now at the very last elevator in the core leading to unknown and it freezes on the way up and won't continue. I really don't want to have to start over, any ideas?

(edit 2)
Found my way after watching ep's lp of this amazing super metroid hack. A couple of spots hung me up a bit but very nice work on this man. Very enjoyable.

Thanks for taking the time to play my hack. I'm glad to hear yet another player enjoys the work I did put into this hack.

It really goes a long way to help me getting inspired for working on the sequel.

I don't think that's going to happen.

Yes, pardon for bumping a thread so old; But a new version of the hack is out.

This one fixes a few bugs and misc pet peeves I have had with 1.30. I updated the download link in the first post but I'll link it here to: [Version 1.4]
There was not a whole lot of work needed to get this done and frankly I should have fixed this up a long time ago, but... eh,

Full change log:

The formatting for your text makes your spoiler text... kind of show up.

Yes I know the spoiler function does not work with my layout. I only used it as a marking method. :v
