oh well. One cousin said you could cut the sexual tension with a knife, another said she was getting mixed messages about the whole thing, and the third was just trying to set the two of us up.

No matter what happened, it was a fun night, a great send-off for my grandma.

My roommate showed up near the end of Earth Hour and turned on all the lights. Oh well, I tried.

Huh. I kinda knew it was Earth Hour but it was hardly mentioned on TV at all this year. Stark contrast to previous years...

Okay, Google Chrome, it's April 2nd. You can stop badly filtering upscaled images, darkening colors on images after loading them, and crashing Silverlight every time.

Did you know? If you bump into one of the giant falling blocks in 2-1 of Yoshi's Island while aiming an egg, it will be destroyed in your hand! Yoshi will still keep aiming though until you try to fire.


I've played the game to death, mapped it inside-out, and I never knew that until today.

The problem is that the file is named, say, 06.png, but the URL generated by Jul is just 6.png. Jul doesn't add a leading 0 to the numbers.

That seems like one hell of an unintentional bug that would be more or less a fluke to find during testing.

I don't know whether or not it's a bug, but when Yoshi tries to throw it, it does the same motion/sound as when you don't have any eggs, so either it was intentional, or the engine was built solid enough to handle it itself.


Watched Pokémon: Arceus & The Jewel of Life. The movie itself was good, but Arceus had the dorkiest voice. I couldn't take him seriously, especially when he was angry. They should have gone with Morgan Freeman. Or Sean Connery.

I still can't stop thinking about that iPhone 4 they had at the store heh. It was way faster than the Spectrum.. But the whole locked-near-everything is kind of annoying. Especially since you apparently can brick them easier by trying to change that..

If only Apple had the idea to make a team deal with Google to do an offshoot iPhone running a modified Apple-Android OS that was at least SOMEWHAT open, and had less restrictions. It'd probably be pretty fast, and properly rebuilt for their hardware. But that'll never happen.
