I personally just dont seem to mind it.
The first day it annoyed the hell out of me, but it's grown on me. I dunno maybe I'm weird. I'm for making it an option, but I don't think it's so annoying or distracting that it's a direct need myself

| Well, as far as I'm aware Opera doesn't support the cursor element, so the most basic option would be to simply use Opera if you really dislike the cursor (although I think it's kind of cool).
Otherwise, what's possible is to make the Ikachan cursor (along with the floating Ikachan) into a separate stylesheet that would display when an option is selected on the "edit profile" page. Then give the elements their own separate id, and viola. I might develop a proof of concept sometime just for kicks. But in all honesty, I think it comes down to the amount of people who actually care one way or another, and the amount of effort it would take to implement it. It's really just a bit of PHP and CSS, and my idea would take maybe five or so minutes to implement, but you know...  |
