Anyway, since I didn't mention it...

Madoka was something really special to me. Watching it was an experience in itself, specially the doubt with the final two episodes. And the story struck me in all the right places since the very first seconds (the dream sequence), the development and how it handled stuff was great, and as unplausible it was it somehow managed to give me the ending I needed.

People can agree it's great objectively, and critizice the flaws it surely has. But on a personal level... It was just the absolute best, by far.

That was my first! Ranma is high on my list of favorites. Other good ones: Berserk, Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star), Armored Trooper VOTOMS, Space Runaway Ideon (if only for the ending and the immense debt Evangelion owes to it), and New Getter Robo.

Obviously, there's also a special place in my heart for Utena, if only because the character dynamics are insane.

I liked it as well. Its Great compared to Most things based on Videogames. I heard the Storyline is better in the game though.

I'd have to say Durarara!!

It stands to date as the only anime I enjoyed watching a second time more than I did the first time (and the first time I enjoyed it quite a fair bit)

...

Ok I lied, it's not the only one, but it's still my favorite anime, for all it's little quirks.

Oh, and Izaya is awesome. Just sayin'.
