On IRC...

3/4. Screw_Attack/Plasma_Beam <-used when my normal name was acting strange in IRC.

I mostly stay the same. The only strange one was Plasmfire and I've tried to get rid of that where I can. I've also been dropping the 0 from my name where I can too. That was there mostly for NSider where you have no clue if someone has your name already. Now that I'm on a board with 300 people, there's no chance of needing a number.

I'm trying out this one for a while to see how I like it. I've been trying to figure out something to change it to for a while now, simply because there are so many other people who use the same name. I like this name better because there are 17,600 Google hits for BooUrns, and only three for OoBurns.

This name was invented by BMF, by the way.

Xkeeper, with an optional number attached depending on how many times our AOL account was canceled and restarted (yeah, very indecicive parents). I was the true cream of the crap back in the day, I guess.

Aside from that, just occasional out-of-the-blue names (Biospark, anyone?) but generally Xkeeper.

I'm rather uncreative, I'll admit. That and a lack of desire to really want to change.

On this subject, I am amazed that, despite how generic my name is, the only places other than sites I've registered at(and MMOs, and youtube

) that have this name in use, are weird scam websites. I'm just surprised at how uncommon a generic sounding name like "TheGreatGuy" is.

Pretty much what I see as well. Except, I left my number-name behind at GameFAQs, and went with this one. Although I still use the number-name there when I rarely feel the need to post, and to get out of ads that were copied from gamespot
