Very sad indeed. I had never heard any of her music, but my mom made sure to link me to some of her songs, and DAMN, she had an amazing voice.

It's always sad when a person dies at such a young age, of course. 48 is so young to just drop dead.

News is saying that the cause is believed to be that she drowned in a Florida hotel bath tub....but they aren't sure about it, so they said something about tests to confirm the real cause of death.

I can't help but think that drugs were involved. And I have a feeling they already know that but won't tell anyone because they want to get all of the mourning/celebrations/tributes out of the way.
