I had one (1) message in Discord deleted and proceeded to make a huge, huge mess about how it was a violation of free speech and how moderators are supposed to be spam janitors and nobody should have the right to tell me not to talk about school shootings

On the other hand, IDs and sodas as 'toxic beverages' is kind of ridiculous. What will they go after next, huh? Fruit juice?
I think the main issue is more that sugar (and especially HFCS) is creeping into EVERYTHING and trying to avoid eating too much of it can be difficult.

Fruit juice or...

... Water.

On a serious note, though, even fruit juice has sugar in them, albeit which kind, I don't know. It's possible that fruit juice can literally be banned somewhere in the future for no reason.

Well, everyone that's ever drank water has died or will in the future, so I can see how they'd make a case for it... and even get gullible idiots to go along. Probably wouldn't even need to pull the old Dihydrogen Monoxide trick.

That's always the rub. Everyone dies eventually, so anything a person drinks could be potentially toxic. :p

... Oh wait, you can die from not drinking too.

Is there any way to NOT die? ... Yeah, that's what I thought. Sigh.

Maybe somehow becoming a machine would do it, but even then that's sketchy. CAN consciousness be transferred like that? Who knows.

I would think that theoretically, if you view the brain as a hardware/software platform (neurons forming the hardware, the chemical interactions as the software), you could eventually design a device that could "Flash-read" brain state.

I would imagine though that it would probably change the person being mindcloned, since there's no way a machine would be able to remotely accurately simulate the fineries of neural activity, like how some NES emulators were horribly inaccurate.
