After watching the various versions of this movie and hearing about the depressing story behind this movie, I still have to wonder what could have been...and how. It could have been the most beautiful animated movie ever, but I still like it for its fantastic animation (even if some of it is unfinished).

I defer to the Nostalgia Critic on this, however my main critique is they took too long in making it and changed their minds too much. Anything which has that much difficulty being developed usually isn't going to come out pretty.

I got to watch the Re-Cobbled version, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite being unfinished and rough around the edges, it was pretty great. Also, Zig-Zag was a very entertaining villain.

Apparently, the guy behind the Recobbled Cut is currently focusing on the Calvert material.

It will be interesting to see what Calvert will have to say. Also, I never thought he would say this, especially since it's posted on April Fools' Day.

Still, I kind of don't understand why he would delete almost everything currently on the Thief Archive channel.

creating a version that, judging from Youtube comments at thethiefarchive Youtube channel, a lot of people really love, because the Recobbled Cut is boring and doesn't have Jonathan Winters in it.

All signs point to bullshit.

Previously, there were plans underway to complete a Mark IV Recobbled Cut based on a much-improved copy of Richard Williams' workprint, as well as some 12 minutes of HD 35mm footage.

All signs point to "This is a real hint as to what he's intending on doing, as it directly contradicts the *second sentence of the post*." False alarm, everyone!
