Hah, very nice, it's cool how the creator managed to create art out of the music. I don't think thats MIDI though, getting accurate sounds like that with a MIDI composer? I just rewatched it, not as accurate as I past thought, I was blinded by how good it was. I'd download the program, but I'd wind up never using it.

It's a program that can run MIDI and MAMX files, but it sometimes uses different instruments.



I'd love to see a platformer game/space shooter that takes in MIDI files and turns it into levels like this.

To be honest, that looks like something to put normal MIDI though, since I'm a stickler for visualizations that actually have something to do with the notes being played.

The program ignores MIDI events before the first note, so it doesn't set up the instruments and such. Use a MIDI editor and put a really low or really high note at the beginning of the percussion track, so it thinks the music starts there and sets up everything.
