In the year 2016, aliens will land in Ghana and will try to take over earth. We have only 4 years to prepare for this attack on the earth, so make sure to stock up on weapons, food, water and get lots of exercise. We need all the power we can get to stop the aliens on 2016 and prevent them from killing humanity.

Oh, hey. I think most of us have already stocked up on food, water, essentials for life, and various back-up shelters because of the 2012 mayhem. If it's literally the end of the world, the aliens you say is coming is probably just going to find a barren wasteland of a planet.
If we eventually find out the 2012 mayhem is not true and it isn't going to happen anytime soon, I'm sure some people would keep the stocked stuff just in case. Paranoia can be helpful.
