It looks like you've been taking advantage of DreamHost Donations, the system that allows visitors to your website to submit donations which are then applied directly to your DreamHost bill.

Nice work!

We wanted to let you know that, effective immediately, we are raising the minimum donation amount from $0.50 to $10. That's 10 USD, CAD, AUD, GBP, EUR... and 750 JPY.

If you've defined preset donation amounts through your web panel, anything $9.99 and under has been automatically raised to $10.00. Any "write in" donations will also need to be $10 or more.

We hope this encourages your benefactors to be a little more generous with their donations and ultimately defray most (maybe all!) of your hosting expenses with us.

Yep, got the same email this morning.

That being said, the smallest donation I ever received of the...three I've taken in about five years was $10 anyway.

That's a neat service they offer. I wish HostGator had such a thing -- having Cordilon's donations go to the same PayPal I use to pay for Steam, Xbox LIVE, and Netflix is a dangerous, dangerous thing.

I never considered to have a donate button. More likely people would make donations to have me NOT re-upload the amateurish remains of my archived sites.
