I suppose so, I must admit, I'm not super familiar with the NES game due to never having played it myself. :o

Also, I do believe that if they do bring back GBA games for the 3DS shop, then games that support it should use bigger screen space rather then resized to fit. Although, that could be an empty dream I suppose.

Edit: Speaking of which, where did those 10 free GBA games go?
I don't mind them taking time, but they where offered as an sort of make up for the lack of games, handing them out now when games are coming out rather then in the void that was a few months back just seem odd to me.

Actually, the GBA was 240x160, only slightly narrower than the NES.

In fact, the action in Kirby's Adventure takes place in a 248x168 frame. The lower 56 pixels are the life display, which is simply overlaid transparenlty in NiDL. (And the rest are a vertical scrolling bar and the PAL extra tiles)
So it's almost the same size. A tile smaller both vertically and horizontally, but almost negligible-- that's what, half a tile lost on each side?

The size problems comes from using larger sprites with the same layouts, which makes the scenaries look cramped in comparision.

I guess KA wasn't ever completely new to me, then, but I do kinda prefer it ... even if only for the "wow, the NES hard at work" factor. That or the fact that things feel a bit more spaced out...

Ah, thanks for the correction. It's been too long since I've mapped a GBA game. Where did I get 192 from?

I forgot to take into account the original game's HUD. No wonder everything seemed to fit! But yeah, the larger sprites make everything a bit more cramped.

@Lunaria: It's definitely worth trying. Even if the gameplay is more or less the same, it's a different experience.

Nintendo bringing downloadable games as Club Nintendo rewards.
Namely, Super Mario Kart, 3D Classics: Xevious, MvDK: Minis March Again, and Fluidity.
Awesome.

Also, the new 3DS update came out a couple days ago, and there's a surprising amount of new content, especially in the StreetPass Plaza.

Maybe I'm just being impatient, but they're really taking their time on those GBA Ambassador games, aren't they?

I'm a bit sad that I don't see any Advance wars on the list, but it certainly is a very good list anyhow!

Convenient. I'd been wanting to try Minish Cap.

Only one I really see myself skipping is WarioWare. Just never really interested me. Great list though.

Pretty much what I think too, was never really into warioware, but I will honestly play all of the others. This list is certainly a lot more solid then the NES one.

Paulguy's Post configuration
Yeah, the NES list just seemed like a grab bag of cheap party favors to appease people, but this is a good lineup of games.

So many games I've wanted to play but didn't want to have emulation be the first experience! And Wario Land 4 is just fantastic!

Seriously, very much NOT a bad selection of games. (Kinda wishing they had SMA4 instead of 3, but eh.)

Yeah, that's not a bad selection at all... I'm especially glad to see Super Circuit on there, I've been meaning to replay it but lost my cartridge awhile back.
