You know, I've never bothered with FLAC.

I just get 192kbps+ MP3s - usually 256 or 320.

Only when you can make them out.

I usually don't have issues pinpointing artists I like when they play anymore, though...

Same here, except all the other rips online currently are 128~kbps currently.

That said, trying to play a song before it's finished resulted in corrupted playback that was oddly listenable.

I honestly thought I had been faked out, and only two of the songs on the album were legit.

Last I remember, incomplete MP3 downloads just cut off.

Of course, this was back on the 56k days, where I'd preview a song to see if I liked it.

It's so nice being able to download and stream things now. Seriously.

Trying to play RO and do ANYTHING else is not that easy to coordinate.

It's usually why I play it alone or when I've truly got nothing else to do. I haven't touched it in a few weeks.

Isn't there actually a lack of a speed limit on some roads there?

I'd be scared to death to drive on such roads, lest someone actually crash into me because I'm not going fast enough. (It almost happens here sometimes when you're going 5-10 miles ABOVE the limit...)

Urgh, reminds me of the times I've been on the highway in Massachusetts, I'm always paranoid of going above the speed limit (because you just know that's when the cop will show up), but when literally everyone else on the road is either going 20 miles per hour faster than you or tailgating you...

When someone does this to my mother, she actually likes to slow down just to piss them off.

Of course, this is on normal roads, and not highways... probably too risky on a highway.
