Well, it would be weird if suddenly "oh today there's a new area" "oh today there's a new boss" "oh today the game changed completelly and now it's a racing game" "oh today I'm a fish"

Probably they wanted to just work on a reasonably big update, and instead of adding the new stuff that'd otherwise be normal updates to the game they just tack them on this update (which makes it take longer though)

Newer updates will probably follow faster.

That's what the last update was supposed to be, getting the game to where they originally wanted it. Every time they get close now it's "Well we're adding another new feature, sorry try again next month". I just want to play the damn game alreadya.

Well now 1.1 is like an expansion pack. Frankly, I'm glad they're taking their time with this, I barely played anything of 1.0.5 and 1.0.6 because I was burned out. I'm looking forward to starting a new world and playing through a large amount of new content instead of a bunch of smaller bits of content on a more frequent basis. Less burnout chance I suppose.

I have such great luck with map generation! :specialed:

This is the second world in row I generated where the main entry into the dungeon is overwritten by corruption!

Edit: Will you look at that! This place is both awesome and stupid on the same time.

On an unrelated note, I now have more chests than I know what to do with! :specialed:

Edit2: Best worst idea EVER! Shame I ran out of stone, otherwise I could start on the right side as well.

I like everything I saw there...

except the hard mode bit.

The reason being that on Cordilon's server, we tend to have a few people lagging behind the rest (we also have a no-item-transfers-from-SP/other-servers policy, you see), and since it's done through in-game actions rather than a switch in config or something like that...

Well.

Hopefully there'll be some sort of multiplayer override thingy.

Seconding this. I'm also waiting patiently (THROUGH THE MAGIC OF TETHERING!!!) for the patch to land. Stayed up through the night and I'm not sleeping until I've had a bit of time to sink my teeth into whatever the new patch has to offer.

I can't help but think the game needs some way to track progress per-character or per-world. I like dumb statistics like seeing how much time I've spent on a character/world and what I've done so far. :|
