Basically, I have the idea of running a Dwarf Fortress 2010 succession game between people. The rules are pretty simple... basically someone picks it up for an in-game year, and when they're done they zip it up and ship it off to the next person, all while keeping track of major happenings and changes in the fort. Possibly in a journal style, but it doesn't have to be.

And before you ask, we aren't embarking in a waterless desert or an evil hell forest or a place filled with elephants. It'd be somewhere hopefully with magma and flux stone so we can make steel, as well as running water.

And no sabotage. If the fort is lost due to direct actions of the leader, we will revert to a previous save. If the fort falls apart on it's own however... well, that's all part of the fun!
