Amongst explosions all around me, I resorted to an old favorite escape - toying with my Linux setups.

So I decided to compact my Conky a bit, and try to make it a bit more useful.

Here's the initial result.

However, it would constantly report no music was playing even while some was. (I use MOC as my primary music player.)

So I axed the whole music section. This probably works better anyway, considering I play a lot of trackers and formats like SIDs.

I suppose I should really wait until I change my wallpaper to post all this, but bleh.

One of my emulated Mac OS Classic desktops. But to be honest, this one isn't so great and it was done in about 30 seconds. It was also done pretty lazily.

Interesting - what extension are you using to change the menubar? I've... always been curious to some extent about classic Mac OS customization (and OS X to a lesser extent, though mostly because I find OS X pretty satisfactory right out of the box) but all I'm really aware of is Kaleidoscope.

It's not really a third-party extension I'm using, but rather a theme for the Appearance extension that comes with Mac OS 9.

The Appearance themes are somewhat difficult to find though, outside of select sites.
