I think the only time I PMed myself wasn't curiosity or to remind myself of something, but instead to get some data off of another computer (which was at risk of failing or something at the time)...

I email myself all the time, though, I generally find it faster to get files between computers that way than going over and finding my flash drive and moving things around. (as long as the wireless isn't being weird)

My last 23 PMs had the work "Most" in the title. Other than that, the rest are from Anya or Xkeeper. I don't usually send PMs unless its to a noob while the admins are away or something particularly private that needs discussion.

I title all mine with relevant title info, as I'm probably not going to get a response back if I don't hint at people what's actually in the PM.

Though on deviantArt, if I'm submitting something and I don't give a shit what the search keywords are, I'll just make up some pointless "kdefjsldkjf" thing.

I just realized I had 200+ PMs.

Weird. I never use it, either.

I actually never realized you could use tags on DA until just recently.

Kind of wishing I'd recognized this before I started submitting wallpaper images. (Granted, my last one has them, but ... eh)

You can always go to 'Edit Deviation' and put the tags in.

+1

It is too bad that deviantART doesn't list the tags though. It seems to be an entirely internal thing.

I guess it would help with searches, though, even if they're not shown.

...Now they just need to make a feature to disable certain search types (by title or submission text, for example). So often I've gotten false results due to the text.
