I'll gladly use this opportunity to caress this extra hour of sleep. Right now, people are really going to need it. Studies showed that people fared 3.017% better when they got super-adequate sleep. I strongly urge Washington to do this.

I feel odd when it's 5:00 P.M. and the stars shine brightly as if it's 10:00 P.M. I also love the early sunrise. Great to have the warmth when you really need it.

I hate it when it gets dark early. I rather have as much sun as possible.

However, having to be up for work at 4am tomorrow, I'm a bit glad for the extra hour of sleep but not the extra hour of work.

It's just around 6 PM and it looks like midnight outside... I like cool evenings and so on, yet - at least for a few weeks or so - this early fall of darkness just feels a bit depressing.

...also just remembered that I still need to set the clocks on some lesser used devices...

Welp, my mother's already started complaining.

I wonder how many things are going to change their time automatically, this year.

Considering the amount of pollution that goes into the air, as well as the slight changes in the earth in the past few years, especially this year with the major earthquake in Japan (which shifted Japan by several metres and altered the earth's rotation and tilt slightly), I do suppose so.

Also, it turned back an hour about half an hour ago here. All that I needed to change was my alarm clock and the clock on the stove. Yay.

It completely caught me by surprise and threw me off. Now I'm up way too late.

It doesn't even feel like time changed tonight. It's kind of weird, actually, considering I usually notice it.

Though this whole night's been an absolute bizarre thing, so... yeah.

I didn't feel the change at all and thankfully my clock changed for me and the alarm went off on time. I did wake up thirty minutes before it and then went back to sleep.

I just turned back my iHome, my Tamagotchi, my DS Lite and my oven. It's pretty great. I have a lot of business to take care of today, so I could use the extra hour!

Work schedule still says 3:30 - 8:00... So I'm going to assume that I shouldn't bother compensating for the DST change and just go into work for 3:30.

Changed my only non-automatic clock back; the rest changed back automatically.

I'm one of the few with an old-school clock radio, anyway.

Are clock-radios really all that rare?

I forgot to turn back my watch and got all confused for a bit, but that's all resolved now.

No, but mine is from the 1990's and is an ancient General Electric model. So it's a bit rarer than the norm.

I actually wonder if anyone else here has ever just not bothered to change some clocks back, instead just mentally subtracting the hour.

I'm pretty sure I actually never bothered to change my DS back, actually... it threw me off a grand total of once.

Actually, I sometimes leave clocks on winter time all year round. It makes it much less of a hassle and isn't too hard to keep track of!

I never really change my game console clocks--that's just annoying to do and I never look at them anyway.

Thinking about it, I'm not sure I've ever reset my DS clock... it's just not the sort of thing I consider. I don't really look at the clock on it much either.

Thinking again, I think I left some clocks on UTC lol. Doesn't matter much since I can calculate the correct time for these in my mind as well. It just gets annoying for stuff like TV guides.

Well, I guess it's a bit of a different thing in my case - considering, well, my PSP and DS were essentially laptops in functionality to me for a while. (Especially when I ran DSLinux on my DS and my netbook's fan was always making an annoying grinding noise. Shame I don't really use that too much anymore.)
