Nerdy or not; this thread is also open to any and all tattoo designs you may or may not want to get stamped on your body until you rot in the ground. Let's share some and laugh at some really horrible ideas or stare in awe on how amazing that is.

About 5 months ago I got my first tattoo. As a lot of people say, getting a tattoo is addicting. But I really don't see myself getting another one anytime soon.



It comes from this:



Best company ever. I freakin love Metal Gear Solid. And hey, I like Foxes! So it was a perfect fit on my right shoulder.

Story behind that tattoo was a friend of mine posted on facebook that he was getting a tattoo of a naked nun stamped just above his penis. Then about an hour later my cousin, a professional tattoo artist posted that she was about to do "A really awkward Tattoo in a really awkward spot". Well, I didn't know at the time that she was doing HIS tattoo and later he came to my house and told me to check out his tattoo. he pulled his pants down, shown it to me (Not that far) and I was pondering who did it.

"Oh it was *This chick*"

Me: Uhhh...that's my...that's my cousin.

Him: "DUDE YOUR COUSIN DID A DAMN GOOD JOB AND IS FUCKING HOT HOLY SHIT"



Well, I decided to give her a call and told her "You know you gave that nun tattoo to on of my friends right?

Her responce was dramatic. It was hilarious. Well, my friends and I all went to the shop she owns and I asked her the cost of the tattoo I wanted and it was free. I was not a total asshole though. I gave her a nice tip and seen how she is a vegetarian I also gave her a $50 gift card for Olive Garden. Actual cost of the tattoo was about 50 bucks. I ended up giving her $120 cause she is cool as shit and we can talk about Anime all day.

Anyways, the tattoo itself didnt hurt at all. Some parts did but nothing like "OW OW OW OMG PLEASE STOP THIS SHIT HURTS" kinda pain.

Will I get another one? Maybe. We'll have to see.

The first tattoo I got is a Star Wars one on my back.

The second one I got is the Master Sword and Triforce on my ribcage.

And the third one I have is the King of Hearts afire on my upper arm. Sorry I don't have a better picture, but here's one of it in progress.

I've got a heart with wings and a halo on my back right shoulder that I got when I was 19.

Earlier this year I got a Tardis above my left ankle and a NES controller above my right. I want to expand on the NES side with more gaming tattoos.

I really need to get some good photos of my tats.

I don't have any tats, I'm afraid, though I'm considering getting a nautical star-type design (it's kind of more complex than that--I designed it myself--but yeah) at some point.

I DO, however, have three facial piercings. Two lip piercings (snakebites!) and my left eyebrow.

I made the mistake of getting a star shaped tattoo just above my belt line on my lower back, which everyone calls "the tramp stamp". If people didn't call it that I probably wouldn't be too bothered.

I also have eyebrow piercings, which I've gotten twice due to them closing once. I couldn't have them (or spacers to keep them from closing) during my high school days, and having forgotten my piercings at home over a week's vacation one of those years... Getting them again when I graduated was a right bitch.

Well lookie here! I got this done back in July, before Otakon.

I'd like to actually get some more. I'd like to make my whole left arm more of a "geek sleeve" with stuff I will always enjoy on it.

I have no idea what kind of tattoo I'd get. I'd be too worried of not liking it or not liking how it came out or possibly not liking it later on, and tattoo removal is expensive.

I like tattoos but I don't think I'll ever got one myself. I change my mind a lot about what I'd like one minute to the next. I do have two friends who are tattoo artists, so if I never decided I can get one easily (and possibly as a gift). The one actually is working on an interesting one based on FF. It has art from all the series, and he's making the 8-Bit ones in Glow-in-the-dark tattoo ink so they glow at night.
