Horse meat is actually supposed to be pretty awesome. It's got a flavor like beef with a sweeter note, apparently. It's a lot leaner than beef while having the same amount of protein. It's pretty good for you compared to beef, just like pretty much any other meat that isn't beef, like venison, kangaroo, ostrich, etc. It's kinda sad that we end up with beef filling our burgers and making our steaks.
