It occured to me that this desciption is rather amusing, seeing as there isn't any topic to Jul per se. Or is there?

I figured that most areas had a level of acceptable topics. I mean really are you going to discuss farts in a game thread? That'd be terrible. Just terrible I say!

I agree, it got a bit too spamy, even for my tastes. It's a bit shame people got a bit too over worked about it, so I have not dared to make a topic in entertainment to actually talk about the show in the latest fad.

Off-topic: Most forums on this board do have a topic, aside from General Chat and this one (obviously).
Chatter: verb Talk rapidly or incessantly about trivial matters.

Compare General Chat, which is more or less the same:
Chat: verb Talk in a friendly and informal way: "she chatted to her mother".

There's a slight difference either way, but the important thing is that neither forum is really about anything in particular. This one is just more tolerant of the trivial things.

The way I think of it, the Craziness Domain is for whatever doesn't fit in the other forums, hence it has no specific topic. As already noted previously.

There's no one topic for Jul however, and it'd probably be very hard to come up with one, unless there's a such thing as "General discussion + tech stuff"... which is more of a super-category than anything else.
