I personally am rather satisfied with iOS5 over previous ones (though I still wish they would make it so push notifications don't fucking disrupt and suspend the alarm clock indefinitely )
my iPhone 3G was perfectly fine up until its iOS4 days, where it proceeded to become a nearly inoperable lag machine. My new 4S is fantastic though I'm sure in several years I'll have similar complaints. It does everything I need, make/receive calls and send texts plus a few other cool things, so I am honestly satisfied. I use Copytrans Manager that yde pointed out, though I don't believe it works with iOS5...perhaps the newest update does, I haven't tried it yet. |

I never understood the point of the Shuffle. Just seemed like a really dumb idea to me.
The USB connector snapped right off after less than one years use.
Been quite the opposite experience here.
1st gen iPod shuffle, outlasted a myriad of later-generation Apple devices, which all broke and caused my sister to abandon iTunes.
She still regrets trading that 1st gen iPod to me

Eh, I guess I might have just gotten a pretty bad dud.
But it's not like having my first ever product with them horribly fail is gonna give me a nice state of mind about them.

I don't care for Apple products either. I have a third party music player. It, too, outlived all the newer Apple devices.
