I admit I disable it occasionally (like right now), but only when I'm doing really well and I just want to take a short break. So I usually disable it about twice a week for about an hour or two. It gets easier after the first week

And then Propel is in a league all its own, being ridiculously good. Although, I guess "enhanced water" applies more to that... most flavored water is kinda eh though.

You know, I don't think I've ever actually tried any of the "flavored waters"... I just stick to "traditional" soda, of course it's less healthy but you know what you're going to get.

Lemon water deters the taste of food when combining both the water and food. However, very healthy for you, and still delicious either way.

This is just a thread for whatever random discussion. Back in the old days, people would talk about anything on their minds in the ACS (precursor to JCS) thread, and others complained that was cluttering up ACS results and discussion, so the random stuff was split off into its own thread. I think. Maybe that happened during one of my absences.

I had some kind of flavoured water thing years ago and didn't like it.

I say give it a shot. Some of the flavors are "okay", but some of them can be really god damn good as well. Haven't had anything really terrible yet, at least.

Probably on Jul itself actually. I was one of the people who came out against the annoying chatter that got so extreme it buried all the results.

The decision we came to worked out fairly well.

It was a little of both... There was a restriction back then of 5 posts per 24 hours in the ACS thread specifically to enforce it as a results-discussion-only thing.

That rule was abolished long ago, obviously, and things were served better by splitting the discussion. Part of me wonders if we should just merge them together again, to keep a single large topic around for a month instead of having this huge beast around.

Then again, the 5 post/day rule SUCKED especially when *I* couldn't post the results because of the rule; granted, my limit would usually reset around midnight, but if I was late one night posting the results... yeah. :\

Though you can say that, it was also a very important component of ACS strategy, for those few of us who regularly vied for the top spot. Silly as that sounds. If you could post as much as you wanted in that thread, the results probably would have been more... Gimmicky, shall we say.
