| Wait wait wait. Can you actually play on battlenet against other people who have bought full version? Hell, even if you can only play against people on your friend list that is freakin bad ass. brb reading FAQ..
Q. Can I play a match with other players who have the full game? Can I create a match with a friend? A. Yes. StarCraft II players with a full game license can join a custom game on the Starter Edition maps to play with Starter Edition players. You may play matches with friends by simply creating a custom game on a trial map and using the game invite functionality to invite friends to the game. Q. Can a player with a full game create a game on a Starter Edition map? A. Yes. If a player with a full license wants to create a custom game that can be joined by a Starter Edition player, he or she should select one of the maps marked by the special symbol. | So that's why the game suddenly started throwing "you have played all you can in the free version BUY THE REAL GAME" messages at me despite both me having the real game and there not being a trial version...
Still, cool. Got a few friends without the game, they could benefit from this. |

| I might give this a shot if I'm taking a break from Xbox LIVE, if I know it should run right. The processor should be fine (AMD Phenom II Quad-Core at 2.2 Ghz), but the display driver (AMD Mobility Radeon HD 4250) is a concern, due to it being a mobility integrated driver. I guess if I can run WoW Starter Edition (DX9) at low to medium details, I should be able to do the same in Starcraft II. ____________________ Michael A La Mode will never be forgotten! |

| That matchmaking algorithm sure can do some funky things. I played one 2v2 placement match...lost horribly..and got placed in Platinum League :0
I assume that's..you know..wrong..Should I not have to "work" my way up to Platinum? Anyways, I'm up for any kind of organized play, as long as it takes place later in the evening Since I pretty much live at school now and only go home to bath and sleep. | I would absolutely play in a Jul tournament. I haven't played much in the past several months, just because ladder feels so impersonal and cold to me. I guess I just want to play with the same people repeatedly.
We could also just make a 3v3 or 4v4 team and see how many bad kids there are to crush online. I guess it really depends on how many of us are interested. Also get Aerakin in on this, lol. He and I had some silly good times a few months back. I'm sure aerakin.miasmir would be willing to 2v2 tyty.bmp a few times as well =P I love watching people play and giving and receiving advice. I really want something like this to happen. |

| Ah, right, character code. I couldn't find it in the interface for a while (it's in the Add Friends window, which I only open if I have to add friends...) so I assumed they removed it sometime in the last several months.
So I am konekotyriin.711 to be perfectly clear =) And on skype I am koneko.tyriin which might look a tiny bit familiar. Also I'm pretty sure I skyped with bmp before at some point. Don't remember how that went down. |
