I want to replace this watch for someone as a surprise, but I cannot remember who made it. this is the only photo I have. I know it's a long shot but do any of you guys have an idea as to what brand this might be?

Did some searching. Looks like that's an OTS FilmWatch.

Google image search.

The O.T.S. might be as close as you'll get.

It also kinda looks like one of these:

Notice how the ring is colored. I can't find this in any other colors, though.

Additionally, the second line of text from the top looks more similar in these two images than the OTS. Can't read that logo, but it looks sort of like it says "CASIO". One of these watches is definitely a knock-off of the other though; I'd assume the Filmwatch is the original.

I'm almost certain it's that Casio.
Thanks a bunch you guys. I asked a few different places on the internet, I didn't actually think Jul would be the one with the answer! I really appreciate it

I guess, never much liked the feel of watches. Got at least one left for collection purposes or whatever.

I don't know, I wasn't big on watches either but this topic has rekindled my interest. I might even get a Casio film watch of my own because they have this sort of "nerdy chic" feel to them. They're really cute.

I have a huge watch (the face is probably over 1 1/2 inches in diameter) that does pretty much everything I could ask, aside from having a countdown timer () ...

The one here just looks goofy and pretty dumb, though. I like them better round... Or at least, a regular rectangle, instead of that bizarre thing that looks like someone ate shapes and puked them onto a wrist strap

The thing about using a cell-phone or iPod or something for the time is, then you have to take it out of your pocket and maybe activate the screen, whereas a watch the time is right there.

If you get as obsessive about time as I do, it is a necessity

For me, my ipod's screen is always on by the time it's out of my pocket. So it works out for me in the end anyways.

I wear a watch, and end up looking at my cell phone anyways. :< Force of habit, I suppose.

No watch here. I always end up losing it anyway.

I can use my car's built-in watch, or if I don't have it with me... try to predict the current time on my own.

I wear a watch sometimes. Not usually to work because I just use the clock at work, but often if I'm trying to catch buses or whatever.

But I usually forget anyway.

When all you have to do is hit a button on the side without opening the phone, it's not that bad. There's a screen to show the time and other such information when it's closed.

I wonder if anyone remembers those Game Boy watches... used to have one of those a while back.

If I'm remembering correctly a friend of mine used to have one with a built in Mario Kart game. Unfortunately he lost it at some point and never did find it which was a real shame.

As I'm one of the only people on earth who doesn't have a cellphone I have to use a watch to keep track of the time. It's just a normal digital watch with built in stopwatch and alarm features.

That's (unfortunately) not one I was referring to - it was just a normal watch, with its buttons where the A and B buttons and (obviously) a Game Boy face.

I think it had a stopwatch feature too, though I'm not exactly sure. Been too long.
