Hi there,

I'm looking inside the Nintendo 64 SM64 ROM for Mario's head Icon, which I'm going to replace with a new one in Tile Molester.

However, I can't find the exact location where his head icon is. Can someone please help me find this Mario icon? I've looked in the GFX near the File Select and other data, but to no luck.

I really would like a exact location of the graphic, and/or a screenshot. If I have to change the codec used to display it (in Tile Molester), please tell me.

EDIT: I heard that Tile Molester displays the 15bpp graphics incorrectly.

in Tile Molester press the Decrease width button 14 times,
then goto the rom address 00807755

If you didn't edit the corner pixels, your ROM is still OK. However, the graphics edit you made will show up differently in-game. You should swap your ROM and edit the graphics again to ensure the colors show up correctly.

well, i edited the Mario lives counter into Luigi.
all i did was color the Hat green and it looks fine.

you can have a look at the screenshots and see for yourself,
its the Luigi 64 but, its not mesosades its the CoolEthan one.

So that's what is must've been. I've always thought Tile Molester displays the 15BPP RGBA format incorrectly, but turns out it's an endianness thing.
