Subtitle: It's my turn to start a thread here, dammit!
So this came out today on the 360. I picked it up.
There's a new Car Club feature, functioning basically like guilds in other games. There's a club leaderboard, internal rankings, and a shared garage. I set one up primarily for Cordilon, but it's open to Jul people* as well - search for Phase One, tag [Ph1], or give me your gamertag and I'll invite you.
I'm never sure what else to say to start a thread about a game, so I'll just tell you this: I suck ass. Don't expect me to be really competitive, but hey, at least it'll be funny!
* Julers? Julites? Julians? Hmm.

Probably going to pick it up in a month or less (hopefully before Black Friday), just because of the shared garage feature.
I did test the new wireless steering controller that promotes Forza 4 at a demo kiosk at Best Buy. I'm not a fan of the controller because I oversteer more than the Microsoft 360 pad, and manual shifting is mapped to the D-Pad for the wheel.

I will LIKELY pick this up on Sunday. Don't think I can grab it before then due to work, sadly...
Don't forget - if you played Forza 3, IMPORT YOUR SAVE. Not only is it an achievement, but it'll also unlock bonus cars based on your Forza 3 driving level.

I'm... sucking rather less than I expected.
The Phase One garage is decently stocked now - members can borrow a Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera or a Ferrari Scuderia. Neither can be bought, I got them as carryover bonuses from my Forza 3 VIP status. Neither one's upgraded yet, but that's mostly because I don't have a good handle for supercars just yet.
I'm still cruising around in an upgraded-to-B DeLorean.

Racing a DeLorean in the S class is... weird. I've pretty much hit the top of its performance, though. Can't do worth a damn on high-speed courses, but its braking and turning is surprisingly high for the class; this works well in, for example, Fujimi Kaido and, theoretically, the non-speedway Sedona. (haven't taken it there since A, though)
I'm honestly surprised. I figured it'd peter out in A, but I decided to force it to the next tier anyway.
But now I have to pick a new low-tier car to upgrade... I'm thinking '87 Firebird next. That or '90 Camaro.

Bought the game today... but I want to hit Driver Level 50 in Forza 3 first. :\ Given how I'm at L29 now... should only take a few hours, no?
