Request you!

It's actually a simple game like Super Marisa Land or that Alice puzzle game, and actually more about switch puzzles than about exploring everywhere, but still pretty fun.

League of Rageneverends.

Also found my long lost LoZ: Link's Awakening cart. Might start it again!

My girlfriend lured me to try Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online, so I've got plenty of games right now.

Played some more classic Metroid while waiting for class. After bumbling around in Norfair a bit, I found five missile expansions, an Energy Tank, the Space Jump Boots, and Screw Attack in one run. Now we're talking.

Fun fact: When I collected the Energy Tank, I had 2 HP left.

Been frittering away small sums of money constantly on Steam and GoG.

Current attachments are The Binding of Isaac, Sim City 2000 and Rayman Forever.

Isaac is rage inducing yet somehow fun. Damn popup shooters D:

First playthrough. I don't know what to actually expect from the game, except for summons being a thing that exists, the overall classes (and that you get them with each crystal duhh), and that the endgame (Labyrinth+Tower+Eureka and the Final Dungeon) is supposedly insane.

I'm playing this translation. White/Black/Red/Monk party at level 15 (which I think shouldn't be at as I haven't figured how stats do their thing, but eh, I don't really want to care) at the Dwarves' Island.

Edit: Ok, Salamander was a pretty tough boss, what with that multihitting insane attack. White Mage couldn't keep up with such damage and had to use a Phoenix Down on her, and the rest was all a guessing game. Not having a fighter for... the fight meant it went on far too long too.
The Fire Crystal Jobs suck, except for Knight, but I don't know who to change for Knight. Also Scholar, who somehow makes about the same damage as my Monk with books. I need Scan for the next boss anyway.

Reshiram: The Ranger's decent, actually; bows and arrows do surprisingly good damage, and they can use most low-level white magic (just not Aero, but they don't need that).

At that point, my party was usually Knight/Ranger/Red Mage/White Mage, switching Red for a Scholar for that one boss.

NBA Jam: On Fire Edition is just like old-school NBA Jam... RIGHT DOWN TO CHEAP AI NEAR THE END OF THE GAME. Gotta love the CPU drilling three pointers like they're going out of style.

Forza 3, getting ready for Forza 4. Wish I had more time with Forza 3, but I got into it way after it was released.

Don't you get bonuses in Forza 4 depending on how much progress you made on your Forza 3 save? There's an incentive for you (and me).

I just realized the implications of Nitori living pretty much where Aya does.

Also they are a very annoying boss. Hatate will only aim and try to take a picture, but Aya will rapidly throw gusts of wind that will send you either offscreen or just off platforms, and both cancels Extending Arm and still pushes you with the Drill. (And falling means starting all over again)

Stigandr: Well, switched a red for an scholar for that one boss too (which was a pushover) and is surprisingly good on dealing damage.
I was considering switching Black Mage for Ranger, but Ice3 is quite strong and am still dependant on magic... I could change White Mage, but I'm not sure if the Ranger can heal as efficiently either.

The problem with scholars is that they don't get any new weapons until much, much later in the game. Seriously, they have two sets of weapons; one now, and one that comes shortly after your last airship IIRC.

So yeah. For now they work well, but they won't last long.

Well, I just got the Water Crystal... unexpectedly early. I'm worried I might've skipped something. (There WAS a pair of caves in the floating continent I couldn't get to, after all)

In any case I guess now it is time to fix that.

Also too bad Monks don't carry the bare-handed attack boost when upgraded into Black Belt.

IIRC they get a massive HP boost though... or was it the other way around?

I only dabbled around a bit with the DS version. 3 red mages and a white mage was my party last I checked :V

The DS version had huge changes from the NES one, though.

I thought Masters did get the bonus. You did take both weapons off, right?

Also, if you go to the right spot, I'm pretty sure you can return to the floating continent.

Wow. A fantastic puzzle game, filled with NES nostalgic goodness and awesome remixes. I highly recommend it.
