So, had my first lesson of Human Biology today.

I'm already weeks ahead of the rest of the class and predicted an A.

Of course, the teacher is Spanish so I only understand every other... sentence.

A downside of being an out-of-state student at a state school is that during fall break, everyone else tends to leave and I stay here because the distance is too far and the amount of time too short...

Though last year I ended up going to DC with a friend of mine who has a car, maybe I'll be able to do that again...

So I went to an independent book store today and picked up a Tao Lin novel and I've been reading it. It's pretty entertaining, but I'm not sure how literary it really is.

The 29th we need to take Shep back to the vet. He's going to get neutered. Needs to be done and I hope everything goes well.

The 17th Zell (oldest cat) needs to go to the vet for his 6 month check up. We need to drop him off. Again, hope all goes well.

My parents haven't taken our cats to the vet in literally years- they've outright said that if they get sick they won't be paying for anything either.

Thankfully, they've still been healthy so far...
