Well, I can't really record the forest when creepers blow parts of it up every few minutes..

I guess I'm waiting on Su to shut them off or at least nerf them.

1. Sue him
2. Murder him
3. Blow up his house
4. Fuck his wife while he watched

for being slow to respond to the request to add the mod to their compilation thing. Not because he's violently anti-mod compilation. Although he might be now, because of those things.

Yes but, he's also got his own group of rabid fans that has done the same. Lots of minecraft modders do. At least other places can call them out on it.

That Kodaichi dude made a thread on reddit bitching about idiotic messages asking for jars, and reddit was all "Hey aren't you one of those assholes who wanted banlists in mods?"

It was pretty hilarious actually.

A lot of modders also dislike the yogscast, not because of their fans, but because the yogscast wanted them to stop using adfly due to it being a shitty service that gets them mere pennies.

That's the biggest reason why a lot of mods were pulled from the yogbox, because the modders wanted to keep adfly. :|

Maybe if the modders refused nicely instead of being assholes about it too though.

I know a lot of the modders are specifically negative about it for no good reason. If you just say "No, sorry. I'd like to keep it out of modpacks

" instead of "No way! It's my mod i want it on its own fuck off!" I'm sure they'd react differently.

Except that's really not true at all, Pudding Huxtable asked every mod maker once the Yogbox started and if a modmaker didn't want their mod included, he didn't include them. Now the fans on the other hand, they're the nasty ones. But the Yogs and Pudding are not the ones acting nasty to people.

They kinda did.

Anyways, I downgraded back to 1.7.3 to give this Technic Pack a go. Good lord I miss sprinting, critical hits and stacking food/regenerating health. I've gotten SO used to them. So much so that I'll probably end up just going back to 1.8 and waiting for this compilation to be updated for 1.9 (since 1.8 seems unlikely currently).

Also wow, didn't know all this actually happened with the fans. I thought it dumb when I saw that BTW wasn't even willing to make it easier for users to adapt his/her mod to others, particularly in terms of block IDs. But I'd never have flamed him/her over it.

BTW's fans did the same thing tough. Right now they're bitching about technic in their own forums (Yes, a game mod about chopping wolves and windmills has a forum all to its own.)

FlowerChild (BTW's creator) actually discovered that some members of his forum visit SA and started banning all of them for no reason other than they visit SA.

We also discovered that if you disable BTW in modloader's config files, the game will crash if fire starts or lightning strikes because he hardcoded the habachi grills he made into the fire routine. Disable BTW, you disable fire in Minecraft. Hope you like saving chunks crashes.

A year ago (Has it really been that long?) back on one of Sukasa's servers, we originally had a deep mine where we were operating. After a week or two most of us had abandoned it in the usual sprawl that occurs, so I went back and removed most of the torches and carpeted things with snow.

That was back when monsters weren't enabled in MP though. As it is... yeah.
