| I had a lot of trouble getting into it myself.
The information the game gives you on learning how to actually play is extremely sparse and until you know what you're doing it's incredibly difficult to know why your dudes are getting killed. Couple that with the rather out-there difficulty of the campaign I can understand why people don't like it. The underlying game is solid, but the newbie barrier is catastrophically high. Heck, I play TBS games to death (Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Civilisation, Heroes of Might and Magic) and yet I still can't finish level 1. |

| Honestly, I didn't even find out that you could give enemies moves during the planning phase either until I read an obscure forum thread.
Basically, it's a promising game that lacks so much polish and refinement that it kills the desire to play it for all but the most enthused about it. |

| Learning a game should be fun.
If learning a game is frustrating, painful and causes you to not want to play anymore then the learning of the game is horribly designed. And yes, reading around the steam forums and the dev forums the conclusion is basically that the tutorial sucks and the campaign difficulty is as balanced as a one-legged goat on a unicycle. |

| I've wanted to play this since I saw the trailer for it like a year ago.
I'm pretty sure I still want to give it a go? The thing is I want to be able to play against a human being, because a game like this is about mindgames and so AI is just tragically unable to give the right kind of experience. If someone around here is willing to do multiplayer with me I'll buy it. I'm willing to suffer through a poor tutorial. |

As a chemist I'm wholly interested in the idea although I found the interface in the demo confusing. Might pick it up for a few extra dollars. |
