Architecture in Helsinki – “Wishbone”

I used to think bands like The Apples in stereo and of Montreal were whimsical and energetic but then I found Architecture in Helsinki, an exercise in chaotic randomness that hits a quite a more than it misses. The Australian five-piece twee pop outfit can be described as "kaleidoscopic" if perhaps a bit in excess at times. But then again, maybe excess can be a good thing.

I haven't gotten over this album yet, sigh. I'm checking out their début next. I hear it's pretty juicy.
