1280x1024 @ 60hz (DVI input), GeForce 7900GS graphics.

That's my primary computer. I've got other monitors, consoles, handhelds, etc. But those aren't too important.

I use 1400x1050 on my tablet which is something like 14" or 15" (I have the font turned way up.) and 1280x1024 on my main LCD which is 19", whether connected to the tablet or the desktop. All at 60Hz, 24/32bit color. The tablet has Intel WGA 950 something (not bad for businessy mobile computer) and the desktop has a Geforce FX 5200 (pile of junk but I don't modern 3D game so it's okay).

When I was working for a software company this past summer, I had two 24" widescreen monitors. I think it was 1950 by 1200 for one monitor? So, two of them would allow for 2400 by 1950 if these two monitors were oriented vertically.

1024x768, anything higher looks to small, anything lower looks too big. Monitor size I'm not sure of, but it goes up to 1280*1024, LCD, 75hz. Graphics card is recently upgraded to a 7900GS, if it matters.

I don't know why I put this here.
While I agree low res CRTs destroy people's eyes, the same is not necessarily true of an LCD, which seems perfectly comfortable and non-damaging at 60 FPS. Possibly because that's the refresh rate of each pixel rather than lines scanning the screen, therefore the effects of the low rate are more likely to be blurring than headache-inducing material.

1680x1050 on primary monitor (22" ViewSonic widescreen), 1440x900 on secondary monitor (19" HP widescreen), both running on a Radeon x1950 Pro.

Unfortunately, my video card likes to bug out when I have two screens enabled, so I don't use the secondary monitor much...

1280*1024 on both screens, connected via VGA to a gForce 8800 GTX (One is a CRT, capable of 1600*1200, but lower resolution is clearer, same as the LCD and allows 75Hz).
VGA because I got both monitors for free and they do not have DVI.

1280*800 on my laptop.

While I would like to have a bigger reolution than 1024*768, my laptop screen restricts that feature.

1024x768. I don't need anything bigger. I believe it's a 17" monitor.
