I too would probably be more apt to just pack up and vanish before trying to get banned. I'd probably only do it if I had an extremely good reason to do so, and even then that would be invalidated by the admin's point of view anyway. 
Not jabbin' at anyone, I've just been around the block enough times to know how it rolls.
