*gulp* Let's hope this new medicine doesn't fuck around with anything that I hold dear. Particularly not getting nauseous, being able to stand straight, alone time is enjoyable, and not weighing more than 130 pounds. :I

130 pounds is a little weird, but apparently my mom weighs that much, even though she looks 150. I'd simply just want to weigh no more than her, still have any and all mental capacities with none of them clouded up, and not having to give up the best hobby.

Because that would suck sex life wise.

Oh, did I mention my new anxiety medicine I have to take three times a day? :I

Humh, I'm thinking of picking up 3D modelling again... does anyone have any suggestions on where I'd find tutorials? I know the internet is full of them, but any personal preferences?

Depends on the program you're using. If it's something like Maya, there are professional videos out there (on DVD no less) teaching you how to do a lot of stuff with it. But whatever you use, be careful of shady "free tutorials" and "tutorial master" websites. They're pretty shady and only link you to other websites. It makes searching for legitimate ones a pain. A good idea might be to find a community dedicated to that specific program and see what they recommend. (For example, C4D Cafe.)

Oh yeah, Creative Cow might be a good place to check. They usually have some useful information.

I wonder if working on the newspaper on Tuesdays would look good on my resume or otherwise help get me a job real soonish.

I don't think my middle or high school had a newspaper. College had one, though.

It seems like it shouldn't hurt, certainly- I think some places just like to know you have some experience with something to talk about in an interview or whatever.

My high school was kinda small, so we basically just had a newsletter. I never really payed any attention to it, though, because it was random small stuff like sports schedules and club info that we already knew anyway.

My bank freaked me out today. Went out to pay some bills knowing I had around $120 in the account... stopped to buy a pop on the way. DECLINED

Turns out they just changed my PIN without telling me as part of their "system upgrade". Apparently some machines will tell you that, and others just show the same generic "declined" message for every problem.

Our pet insurance took out money again, right before we had to pay rent, making us short by about $20 bucks. Had to use my tip money from last night to put int the bank, just in case.

Never heard of a band changing a pin number without notice. I know they do that when you get a new card but never just out of the blue like that.

Quick question: Is it hypocritical and/or a double standard to say it's not cool to FB post about suicide in a thread about the people who died in this town but it's perfectly okay to talk about accidents and cancer and stuff?

Elaboration: It was someone else in the thread that had mentioned a dude died of suicide, then got backlashed for it. Even though a relative popped up and said it wasn't cool to mention that, wouldn't that hypothetically apply to everyone?
