Damnit why are you so obsessed with that smiley combination

I've explained it to you so many times! You should know by now. It's just hilarious how you can alter the meaning of the first smiley by appending a second. A true piece of comedic gold.

what I really don't get is the :> and :< face. I have no idea what either is supposed to be and I'm pretty sure no one smiles like that

Ninette/Raspberry had the perfect image to represent it. Apparently to her ":<" is the "neutral" moΓ© frown. Go figure.

Think evilsmile/evilfrown. LIKE THE DEVIL'S JAGGED MOUTH.

Ahh, my boyfriend occasionally uses " :< " but I don't think he means it to be any different from

At least I think...

My first instinct is to interpret :< as being equivalent to >: (that is to say, ), but apparently this is not generally the case.

That would've never crossed my mind. I actually would've read >: as just being another frown, kind of like

The :< smiley always looks angry/pissy to me. I get confused when people use it as a generic smiley.

I pretty much use :< as a "derp" smiley. And I frequently (almost always) end sentences with .

* Sanky wonders what exactly will happen if he puts a lot of text inside this little pretty box. He can't help his curiosity and proceeds to fill this box with text in third person, which is what you're reading now.
"B-but.. :<"

I use :< when I experience extreme displease. I also like to think it has puppy eyes.

"Hee. :>"

I use this kind of rarely, but it's usually when something or me is being snarky and/or slightly naughty.

There's another one for the list. Imajin, you, FieryIce, who else?

You can see me continually ending sentences with :p, primarily because they often tend to be fiery things which, if not diluted by that, might put someone's eye out. :p

I use it seldom, but my most prominent use was back when I had my "Federation of Freaks" going on one of my wrestling games. One of my freaks names is "DUCK BUCK BUCK :V". You don't pronounce the smiley in the name, but you do have to write it.

(BTW, the Federation of Freaks is my really super random wrestling group thing I made up with the Create-A-Wrestler thing. It is massively silly.)
