| Venusaur? Blastoise? Butterfree?
I thought "Venustoise" right off the bat, but that's just ridiculous. Whatever it may have been, it's probably nothing of concern. Just an ordinary mysterious...something...that is unused.  |

| don't be too surprised, FireRed has plenty of unused gizmos. Overworld sprites of the legendary dogs from the Japanese beta, a Mew overworld sprite, leftover Ruby and Sapphire sprites and the presence of some leftover Ruby and Sapphire tiles and graphics are just a few. Not to mention the entirely unused surfing on a Lapras poses for both heros. |

GPP: 568; GT: 30.821 These guys sure do like to leave in resources that aren't used or even referenced anywhere in the code don't they? | Seems surprising, but I suspect it's purely because development has to be rushed to a very specific deadline for most games; few games get the leeway to repair problems and delay the release date |
