I generally don't have any problems with my speech, and if I have to talk to someone important I usually practice beforehand in front of a mirror. 
I also don't get nervous too easily when talking, even in front of a group, despite being somewhat introverted. |

If you guys want to get over the tripping over words or try to get your thoughts to line up more with your words, you can help that with practice in most normal circumstances. I don't know about speech impediments, but I bet therapy can help those too!
