So I'm going to be moving to Boston's answer to Williamsburg: Brighton/Allston. It's filled with a vibrant indie music scene and small businesses. There are college students everywhere. I'm going to get my piano back and also my music computer so I can start working out some rad tunes again. The future is right on bright in Brighton!

I've only ever been to Vegas once and I liked it a lot at the time. The uptown is practically its own glorious little world, but that's expected. Nothing of the fear and loathing of Hunter S. Thompson.

I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy all the other fun things possible at Vegas like shows or yummy food.

Anyway, there's a mouse in my apartment and I am so unamused right now. I seriously didn't say it could come in here and now it's barged in and it's running around on the floor. I don't have a shoe rack so my shoes were down there too and I just had to hide them all in my room.

I hate mice.

Our house was infested with mice once, it was pretty bad... (and our cat was useless, of course) bags of food would be chewed open, we'd find their little droppings in corners... eventually we had to hire an exterminator. (And even so, occasionally our other cat has been seen fighting mice, so some are still lurking around)

Yeah, that happened in my parents' house, too! One of them even came to me and went on my arm. The worst pests I ever had, though, were squirrels who dug a hole in my room's ceiling.

So I went to the clothing store today and bought a necklace with an anchor pendant. With that and my red stripe mid-length AmericanApparel pocket tee, acid wash shorts and Sperry top-sider deck shoes, I look very nautical. Living the life aquatic.

The rogue mouse left droppings all over my sink. It's soooo gross. Mice do not deserve to be called cute anymore.
