I'm also just not sure my parents would be comfortable with me traveling so far by myself...the whole OMGINTERNETPPL thing isn't really a big deal because I've met up with several Internet friends before (and hell, my mom went to Ireland with a bunch of Internet friends!), but I'm only 18 and my parents can be a bit protective. XD

Bus fare can be very cheap if the tickets are bought soon enough. I don't think it should cost any more than $80 for a roundtrip in the San Francisco to Los Angeles area if the tickets are bought three weeks in advance. If they are then I'll honestly be disappointed it costs that much over that shortish of a distance.

I've done San Antonio to Dallas, a roughly 4-5 hour trip by car, for under $80 by bus if I'm remembering correctly. Round trip, no less.

I'm not sure why the prices over there are so expensive! Megabus can get me a Boston–Baltimore round-trip for a measly payment of $20 or so.

Yeah, seriously! I used Greyhound often in Texas...surely they have that here too, I think I even saw the LA Greyhound station...hm. Though to be fair, most stuff was cheaper in Texas

I'll be in the Cocoa Beach (Kennedy Space Center) area from Wednesday until Friday of next week. Not sure if I'll be in the Orlando area at all since my schedule is pretty tight for those three days.

All the Julers that are in Florida are three hours or more away from me, You guys suck, come down south.

And yea, Peardian is shy, but so am I and it's not a bad thing.

My bad, it actually costs $61 for an LA-LV round trip, if you call ahead. Still pricier than what you guys seem to pay on average, though.
